About Sound Hampton
Records first, then the gear.
Sound Hampton is where Christopher (Chris) Linteris keeps track of his record collection and writes about listening: what is on the turntable, what holds up after a dozen plays, and the small things that make a setup sound better.
It is a personal site. Nothing here is sponsored, and reviews reflect only what Chris hears at home.
The system
The heart of the setup is a Rega Naia turntable. Notes on setup, sound and day-to-day use will be posted here as they are written.
Sister site
For hearing a system before you buy one, Chris also runs Palm Beach Hi-Fi, a hi-fi dealer and listening room in West Palm Beach and a certified Rega dealer. Reviews live here; the listening room lives there.
